Always a good idea, the lump examined by a dentist or oral surgeon. It could be what is called "Tori" meaning flat Boney harmless, most people who know a sort of one not even in the mouth, and. I have 2 in my tongue, too.
If you are a dentist, as a rule, for these things to check during a routine examination, and probably would have said if the tumor was a problem when Tori is just a harmless, they have not even mentioned.
But to his great relief, plan a visit to your dentist, or if your regular review is coming soon, to show her again. They feel better to know what it is.
If it is something that must be eliminated, they can do it, or to an oral surgeon who can do that even while you sleep if you wish.
Go to your doctor. Immediately. And say that you are concerned about cancer of the mouth. Perhaps it is nothing, but if it is malignant, the earlier you catch it unless you've removed a large amount of tissue from the mouth.
